Farnham – officially recognised as a World Craft City by the UNESCO Creative Cities programme – is a gorgeous market town steeped in history. It hosts regular craft fairs and boasts its own pottery and studios, galleries, workshops, exhibitions and arts venues.
The town has served as the location for some major Hollywood movie shoots, from the Harry Potter saga to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The town combines easy access to the countryside with great links to London, a community vibe, busy cultural scene and a great mix of chain and independent shops, bars and restaurants.
Our Farnham Campus
UCA Farnham is our biggest campus, hosting more than 2,000 students on a variety of craft, design and art courses. Located right in the heart of the town, it has extensive specialist facilities and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
A minute’s walk from the town and directly on campus, the idyllic Norman Taylor Student Village is a comfortable and convenient student community. All the accommodation here is self-catering, with communal spaces to socialise. Right now, we’re adding new buildings that will almost double the number of rooms available – these are due to open in September 2021.
